Cannot Retrieve Update Manifest. A network error occurred fetching the update manifest. Please check your internet connection, restart the launcher, and try again.

I downloaded all the files for Star Citizen and launched it, but I got an error. The launcher closed automatically, and when I reopened it, it started downloading the game again.

Turn off your VPN completely and then try launching or downloading the game again. Reboot your modem or router. Check your Ethernet cable and replace it if needed. Change the game’s download location in the launcher settings and test again. Lower the concurrent download setting from MAX to a smaller value and then try again. Add a new game library folder, set it as default, restart the launcher, and then switch back to your normal folder. Try to reinstall the Star Citizen launcher and then try again.
